i have yet another question::

the tab goes like this
(sorry cant get this to line up right)

---------------------
---------------------
-11/13--9-9-9-9-9----
-x/x----x-x-x-x-x----
-9/11---7-7-7-7-7----
---------------------

i know i need to palm mute the x's by lightly freting them but do i fret them on 10/12--8-8-8-8-8? is that correct?? this always seems to confuse me

there is also a part in another song that i have been learning that is like this::
------------------------------
-----x-------------x-x-x-x-x--
-------x-x-x-------x-x-x-x-x--
-------x-x-x-------x-x-x-x-x--
-7-7---x-x-x---5-5------------
-5-5---------0-3-3------------

where in the heck do i fret the x's on that one?

thanks
Taylor

For that tab I would just tell you to use your index finger to fret the 7th, and your ring finger to fret the 11th, then use your middle finger on the D string to mute it, just play it like that!!!! For your second question, the notes that you are playing like --------x---
--7--7--x---
--5--5------ just mute the string close to the next picked or strummed notes you playing. I hope this makes sense if not sorry !!!
