Acoustic Sober?

I'm a new player. I want to play an acoustic rendition of "Sober" by Tool, a la Johnny Cash(rip) and "Hurt". I would appreciate any suggestions on how I could play this and have it sound OK.Thanx

Yeah, I know how to play at an intermediate level, and I have the tab for the song, but I can't seem to translate it to a solo acoustic performance of the song. I was hoping to play it with open chords or even barre chords. It may not even be possible to play it acoustically but I just thought I'd run it by the forum. I just think the lyrics are so sad and beautiful, I thought playing it this way would be cool.
