Hi, as u can probably tell im a beginner to guitar playing. i have a auto chromatic tuner. so say if i wanted to get an 'Eb' note would it be around -25 cents or is it better to get as close to -50 as i can... hm
iv been thinking about it just now and i think its just E to -50cents since Eb is the same as D# right..? D# being D+50 cents. So could i do this if i wanted to tune down 1/2 step?(by tuning all notes, E,A,D,G,B,E, to -50)

Uhh, I think your right. If your guitar's intonation is good, you can just tune them all standard at the first fret to give you Eb.

try this: hit an A on the 6th string 5th fret, then go down a fret to an Ab, and see where that shows up on your tuner, I will bet that will be where everything on your tuner shows up at a half step flat.
