Strat type single coils in humbucker slots

I'd like to put a single coil pick up in a guitar im planning to buy.
(the Les Paul Pee Wee :D fyi)

Im wondering about that ins and outs, like, should i stuff the remaining cavity with a sock as is rock custom?

well that would be pretty kick *** :D.....but i recommend you buy a cheap single coil with the same colour cover and just sandwich the two together to make it look like a bucker. if you want to do something actually useful with it then you should get another good single and wire the two up with a mini toggle switch,so you can get tones from each of the singles, and both of them together in series/parallel and in/out of phase. costs more and takes more effort though ;)
