OK, more than 6 months in now. Some progress made, but fark me it has been slow going. There seems to be a problem connecting my brain to my fingers, not to mention the fretboard.

Anyway, this is my attempt at Heaven's Door (groans all round - yes another cover). Not at all happy with it. I just can't get the right strum going, the rythym is all wrong. If somebody can tell me where I am going wrong that would be great.

My guitar sounds crap even though it is in tune and has decent strings. It also produces fret buzz at the drop of a hat for some reason. This makes things harder. I just bought an Electric (Yamaha Pacifica) and it sounds better when I put it thru the Acoustic channel on the Micro-cube. The Electric is HEAPS easier to fret.

thats why i cut all the connections to my brain, fingers, and fretboard and i let the music flow. but its pretty good how long have you been playing?

Just over 6 months now. Addictive, but very very frustrating.

Sounds great, I'm amazed anyone can sing and play guitar, I've been playing nearly 7 years and still can't. Go play some open mics ;)
