Well I had been gassing for a Tele, but was afraid to bite on another guitar. So I decided that the 51 I had stock, already modded one, would make a good platform. So I reshaped the pickguard, dropped in some MIM Tele pups, made my own bridge and voila, oh yeah it has a rosewood neck from a Squire Fat Tele.

Hope you like it, it actually subsided my gas for now.

And here it was Saturday before I started the transformation.

and this was the first one I modded. It was a black 51, now, not so much.

I was not satisfied with the bridge, so I mad another one using Precision Stock. Also added 3 brass saddles, and switched out the nut and strings, the old ones were in fact D'addario's,lol, the new ones are Ernie Ball Mediums.

Thanks Peeb, I think it sounds great. I wish I had a way to record well. I only have a cheap comp mic and Audacity and I can't make either sound good.
