I know I voted (maybe even twice) for a 'lyrics' section of the forum, so I'm stoked that Jam Session saw fit to hook us up. And equally stoked to post the (possibly, depending on how long it takes me to type) thread.

I'm not as interested in 'posting' my lyrics here, so much as just picking other brains (and BEING brain picked). Though, if you can make them out, I have a couple songs up on Soundclick and Myspace (follow the sig'd links) and soon to be up on the JS mp3 player. So, there's a light offering. I think it's usually better to hear words in the context of the music.
I'd love to hear any questions or critiques that anyone may have about those lyrics.

I've been bogged up in my lyrics of late, so I'm expecting that some threadchasing and posting in here will 'unblock' me a bit. Even if it's simply because I'm thinking more lyrically.

Again, Thanks to the JS mods for giving us a forum (pun intended)- So lets traffic it up and wax lyrical.......

You're all welcome guys:). Sorry for the late reply:(. You spoke, we listened. I was intending on doing this earlier, but time has never really been on my side, and I have a knack to forget things.:(

Tim, great lyrics bud:). Sounds like a real lazy blues with some slide in the background comin' on;). Something along the lines of "Hey Joe"/ "While my guitar gently weeps" sorta feeling.

Hitman!

Thanks Keith, I cut them out of this thread though, lol. Didn't wanna detract from the message of thanks. I started a new one. Should have a clip to post in a week or so.
