Here's my prob.

I go to showcase to listen to some good music....some that are linked to the actual artist page I have no problems with. The other where they have the two links; on says "play hifi", the other says "play lofi"...this one can never pull up and play. I get some kind of weird dying cow sound and a window comes up that says "if you have pop up blocker click here to play the song"...so I click and nothin happens.

For example on Lazy Bee's post, how he has it linked won't work and anybody that has it linked like that wont work for me. But Jose's post and his link will. I don't have soundclick blocked, so I can't fugure it out.

Please help a bro out.

I get the same message, without the cow, but when I click on it, the player comes right up for me. Maybe not a Pop-Up blocker for SC, but do have the blocker set somewhere in your general pc settings that could effect it?

Try going to the main artists page and scrolling down to the tune on their music page. ???

Dummy leadin' a dummy, here!!

It's most likely some draconian setting in your "internet security" package. Sound click is safe, drop all your security and I bet it works. Then, add security back until it breaks. When it breaks, that's the module or setting that needs to be tweaked to allow the popup or player to initiate properly. It could be your browser settings as well.

The problem I sometimes have with the Soundclick player is that it'll lock up and a Firefox message box comes up saying Firefox needs to close because of blah blah....And the culprit is the flashplayer or something like that....Unfortunately, Firefox hasn't worked out the bugs yet. I skip the Hi/Lo Fi link and just go to the artist's page to get it from there.
