To my "Can't Find the Blues" tune which I posted in Showcase last week or whatever. Anyway it was really just one VERSE before, only repeated. I've added a second one.
"Can't Find the Blues"
(Verse 1)
Well I can’t find the blues, looked high and low
All the usual places, in my soul.
It’s cold and it’s rainin’ but it won’t fall on me.
Nothin’ but blue skies everywhere I go.
Got a woman who loves me, you know she’s all mine.
Makin’ plenty of money, and my dog’s doing fine.
Well this guitar is cryin’ not a tear in my eye.
Ain’t it just like the blues to leave you high and dry?
(Mini Guitar Solo)
(Verse 2)
Well I can’t find the blues, been lookin’ all night
From the purple of sundown, to the dawn’s early light.
Well I’m living the good life, in the usual way;
Stayin’ up with my woman, and sleepin’ all day.
I been drinkin’ my whiskey, bring my blues back again
I wonder if they miss me, the way I miss them.
Just a simple blues singer, with no pain in my heart.
Guess I’ll just let my fingers, try and do their part.
(Longer Guitar Solo, Repeat Verse 1)
