No I don’t hate you, for hating me

All the nights you spent alone

While I ran out and left you at home

Drinking beer, and having a ball

Lord knows, I put you through it all

No I don’t hate you, for hating me……

No I don’t hate you , for hating me…

It’s my own Damned fault, That’s plain to see.

No one can blame you for walking out

You’re better off, without a doubt

No I don’t hate you, for hating me……

All your friends, they told you so

Saying’ “he’s no good”, “he’s got to go”

You tried not to listen to your friends

Said you stick out till the end…….

But the end was nearer than I thought

I held another, and I got caught……

Now life is tougher than I thought

No I don’t hate you, for hating me……

No I don’t hate you, for hating me……

It’s my own Damned fault, That’s plain to see.

No one can blame you for walking out

You’re better off, without a doubt

No I don’t hate you, for hating me……

You took it all with a grain of salt,

And told the judge it was all my fault

‘Cause I went and cheated, then I lied

All the times I made you cry……..

Lord only knows how long you tried

No, I don’t hate you, for hating me……

How could I hate you for hating

me, me, me, me, mee hee hee……..

Well here is how I hear it.

Singin' needs a bit of work, but yeah I pretty much heard it that way too when I read it. Maybe a LITTLE bit faster, with more a country-blues shuffle to it. But good job man; it definitely works as a country tune. I just have one question... where's the hound dog?

Thanks for listnening Mr. B. Any advice or tips for the singing?

It sounds like a decent country song. I agree with Mr B that it could be sped up a little, but I liked it. Nice job.

Thank you Millrat. I will try to re-record it at higher tempo.
