All The Way With You

Crying in the darkness, trying to see my life ahead
Going through it all again, Rehearseing every breath I take...
I see you on the other side, I'm willing to come with you now.
Just wait for me, I can't go on, I'm going all the way along!

My tears are gone, I'm all alone.
I'm scorching out my head.
They say i've got a heart as cold as ice, I never fail.
I'm gone inside that time, you were alive, you loved me so.
Through that I cannot go again, i'm moving from this world!
[Chorus]

Remember on the day you left, you took my life as well.
From ever since that day, I never searched in for my way.
I know your never coming back, your dead, I never wanted that.
Now I'll be just heading on my way!

[Chorus]
My tears are gone, I'm all alone.
I'm scorching out my head.
They say i've got a heart as cold as ice, I never fail.
I'm gone inside that time, you were alive, you loved me so.
Through that I cannot go again, i'm moving from this world!

I'm going to sleep, I''ll never wake up.
Can't you see, I'll never come back.
All I wanted was to see my love and life agein.
I'm reaching to my happiness i'm coming just for you, my darling.
One last time will last forever, all the way with you.

[Solo]

My tears are gone, I'm all alone.
I'm scorching out my head.
They say i've got a heart as cold as ice, I never fail.
I'm gone inside that time, you were alive, you loved me so.
Through that I cannot go again, i'm moving from this world!

[End]

I think my favorite line is (Remember on the day you left, you took my life as well.) from verse 2. Is this song about smeone dying or about a lover who left? It seems very deep. I would like to hear the melody you're putting with it.

I'm hoping its about someone that has died. The lyrics are very poingnant.

If about a lover who left, then the line "I know your never coming back, your dead, I never wanted that." would just be creepy.

In general though, I like the feel of it and would like to hear it set to music. Have you done the music or are you working on it?

Wow, in that case, its very dark aint it. Are you a goth by any chance? ;)

It kinda reminded me of a blues song wot I jokingly started about 20 years ago with only a couple of lines:-

(guitar) da da da da da
da da da da da,
I woke up this mornin',
da da da da da,
And my woman was dead,
da da da da da,
She laid there beside me,
da da da da da,
Like a lump of old lead.

etc.

Anyway, I never finished it (it was difficult to see where it was going), until a few months ago when I got some inspiration and the rest of the lyrics just flowed. Initially, it appeared that she was dead, but it just came to that she should be frigid!! :) Watch this space for the showcase version. :)

BTW, does anyone have a BT of a "I woke up this morning" type blues?? :)
