...have you caught any of these shows? I've seen Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast", and watched The Who's "Who's Next", Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors...
..great stuff. "The Doors" album is up next.
Watching Daltry talk about Moon was killer. Dude just lit up.
Also, Buckingham was a great guitar player. Young Stevie Nicks was smokin' and awesome live...
..anyone seen these?
If not, check them out!

I think I have seen them all, they are really cool.
I get the names of the shows mixed up but I like the one where they
have the artist and the producers for an interview at the
mixing console and they chat while bringing up tracks.

That series is great.
I enjoyed the Pink Floyd and Steely Dan episodes the best as they gave the most insight into how the album was made.

Love when they break down the tunes. Very informative stuff. You get to hear each seperate track and how they were pulled together, very cool.

Haven't caught those episodes, but I will keep the eyes peeled.

Vh1 Classic is the greatest thing to happen to tv! They play all the metal and rock videos that MTV used to play. They have tons of great concerts on all the time, it's the first place I saw Dream Theater Budokan. If you don't have it I suggest calling your cable company and seeing if you can get it. :headbang:

It's a channel that came with the new cable "bundle" package. I agree check into it, they are firing up some great programs, G-man.

That's the first show I watched in the series, Scott. I didn't know there was that sort of animosity between the blokes! Great album, great band. I even dug their "Perfect Strangers" album when that came out.

If you get the chance, check it out! Hour long shows, interviews with members, and they pull up a bass track, then slide in the drums, you here many subtlties you would never catch on the record.
Good stuff, Semi.
