I just realized that I spend more time on JS than I do working when I'm work. Thanks a lot people! I'm gonna get fired.

Don't worry, the next stage is actually planning your work around Jam Session, at least you'll procrastinate.

I'm an addict!!
I find myself checking this board more than I do anything else at work. Yep, if I do get fired for screwing off, it'll be because of JS.
I'll find myself on JS, get called out to the shop for something and spend 10 minutes out there, come back in and check JS again (not continuing, but actually checking "new posts").
If I had to guess, I spend probably a total of 4-5 hours on here a day. Sad, yes, who gives a ratz arse?!?!
Now, from home, it's a whole different story!!

I don't give a ratz arse. Communicating with people is good. No matter the format. Good things have come my way because of the web, just as good things have come my way in the area I live in.... and is part of my balanced lifestyle of forming friendships in "real life" and online.
......too many people diss the web, don't knock it until you've tried it is my motto.... :)

Oh Mish, I just meant that I spend 4-5 hours on JS. That doesn't include the entire web...add a couple more hours for all the other doo doo I look at on the net!!
Although I am truely greatful that I do spend that much time on here. I have become very informed about everything guitar in the past 2 years!!

I spend lots of work time on JS too. I work in the news, and we're generally rushed off our feet, or sitting about doing absolutely nothing. There's very little middle ground. Every day there will be big chunks of time where there's no work for me to do, so I fill my time with JS.

I should fire myself, but then again I figure take a break while I can because within a minute it turns to full speed ahead damage control. And JS is one of my chosen venues for chillin.
Also I'm a lazy Libra :o

JS keeps me thinking about guitar and music all day. So much so that I daydream about playing guitar when I don't have one around. Considering that is how I felt about Starcraft when I was taking down pro level players...I think that's a good thing.

I think to a lot of people, the internet as a whole is the most counterproductive thing to ever happen to them, I'm one of them.
I'm seriously considering actually getting rid of the internet because I've wasted so much of my life on it.
There are way too many people who's whole lives are on their office chair in front of the net.

Tell me about it! I walk into a guitar store, and now can talk more about the gear their trying to sell, then them-selfs! Makes me want to do that as a job though :\ Talking about gear and making money for doing it?
