Dude....just gotta work on your timing some. If you don't have one, get an electronic metronome. No dude, its cool...even pros use these to get themselves back on track. Heck man, I use drum tracks and will just play with rhythms to get back on track....... Keep it simple and very slow at first...then after a good bit of time, when you think you got it all locked in, speed it up a little at a time. You'll do fine.... No for better or worst...you're gonna get better.

i agree with fused: if you will practice with a metronome your right hand timing will improve quickly. you are nt bad by any means, but getting your timing down will really help you

What I think may help is if you can learn an opening phrasing to a solo - Just the beginning, not necessarily the whole solo. If you can sit down and learn an opening to a solo note-for-note, get it down good and then try improvising from that.

Right now you're just playing individual notes in the scale, what you need to learn (or copy) is how to combine these notes into a phrase to play against the rhythm track so you can move beyond picking individual notes that sound like just picking individual notes.

Much better than the last one! Your notes are much cleaner this time.

Jose and Scott and Fused are correct...you need to work on stringing things together like sentences and paragraphs. Think of music using the terms in a literary sense. A 'phrase' is something you say correct? It's not just one letter or word at a time...it's generally a small sentence or, for lack of a better word, a phrase that has meaning. Right now you are telling a story one letter at a time...and near the end of your improv you actually started linking them together a bit better.

Try letting one note ring out and playing others behind it. It seems like you're waiting for each note to resolve before moving on to the next one, try adding some chords, some broken chords, some double notes into your improv next time.

But most of all, keep working at it! You're getting better!
