:cool:Hi all check it out I was listening to XM radio tonight and every tues on channel 2 they play Bill Anderson visits with the legends. Well tonight's show was with some hall of fame song writers whose names already escape me:o (DOH!)
BUT!!! Here's the cool thing I wanted to share with all you song writers out there who are REALLY serious about getting known, networking, getting published plus a bunch more! (not just country stuff either)

$150 a year for people to judge your songwriting skills, you can do that at an open mic night and people give You money for that. Is it really that worth it?

These are people who actually know what they're talking about and not just satisfying their own thoughts or ideas or on some agenda

Funny thing though...the public (who actually buys the songs) do not always have the best taste and make some pretty mediocre bands/artists some decent $$ (i.e. Jonas Bros., Green Day, etc.)
