Stray Dog

I write alot of lyrics, and some of them look a bit silly or empty without the music, and I like to think some of them work really well even without the music.
Here's one that I really like...
WANDERER'S HOME
People say they want their piece of mind when they're coming home
All I want is to know my mind, and the place where it belongs
I can handle a wandering life, and I think I can travel light
But a home to set my life by, to a wanderer can't be wrong
I can do without all these things that I hear I need to live my life by
I can find anything that I'm looking for, I can find a way to say goodbye
I could live by the riverside, and sure it won't take long
But a home to set my life by, to a wanderer can't be wrong
I'll still be here and I'll stay with you, when the birds cease to sing
When the dogs no longer bark at night, where I've been all along
I might be gone for a while now, and won't be back till the spring
But a home to set my life by, to a wanderer can't be wrong
