hello! i've been playing the guitar for 3 years now, and i think my skills are still just like the ones who played the guitar for months only. though i already played in some gigs, i'm still not satisfied with my skill. my time to practice is also not enough because i'm a full time "nursing student"....

and i think my fingers are not that long and my pinky has a problem. it can't be straighten.

i'm practicing Minuet - from first to last for a while now, and like it has been a month, i still can't perfect it.. i wanna be a "BETTER" guitar player!!!! so i joined this forum...

i think i will learn a lot..

Welcome.
I can relate to the pinky, mine is not straight either.
There is a challenge, but, I am sure you have it under control.
As far as the student nursing, You do not have much time. I am assuming that while studying, you are putting in some time in a hospital?

Good luck, and, you are right, this is a great place to further your education in guitar.

Welcome, tbh i think every player who does practice something thinks he is not as good as he would like to be.
Why would he practice then?

Welcome to JS.
No one is ever satisfied with their own skills, I'll bet.
Just remember: keep it fun.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy! This is the place to learn. How about filling out your profile so that we know a little more about you, your style and what kind of equipment you have. It helps us answer questions.

Welcome to JS. You're a busy person, so getting enough practice time in is not high priority, and that's cool. Once you are done with the school stuff, I'm sure that you will find a little more time to get some practice in. In the meantime, pick it up whenever you can, and enjoy it for even a little bit of time.

Welcome to JS. I certainly sympathize with you. Both my wife and my son are RN's so I know exactly what you're dealing with. I'm sure you don't have very much time to devote to practicing but later down the road you will and things WILL get better. Good luck!

Welcome!

If you ever do get "satisfied" with your playing, you will probably be the first.
