Hi all
Could someone help with laying out a simple straight forward transfer from the vertical scale to the horizontal. What seems to be clouding my thought process is the formula wwhwwwh which is ok for the vertical scale but slightly confusing when transferring to the horizontal. I know the scales and shapes but how does the formula fit say a G Major scale from single string to one or two octave scale across the fret board. Where do you go from the G root on the 6th string 3rd fret to produce the second whole note interval and so on across the fret board.
hope the cloud can be lifted
