Hi all,
For the last five years or so I've been "to busy" to play/practice/study on guitar. Now it seems I'll have pleanty of time to develop my playing, all thanks to the econemy.
I played all through my youth, was in a band during college and beyond. Grew up, got a job and a wife and drifted away from the whole music scene.
Started practicing again this new year and am slowly getting settled in. Trying to avoid the old bad habbits and playing the same old things. I've been working from an old fake book to work on the musical/practical aspect of playing. For drills and scales I'm using Bill L's modern method, I learned on book 1&2 with my first teacher almost 30 years ago, and they are still just as hard now as they were then.
So far so good, see ya around the forum.
