About 6 years ago, a buddy of mine made his own Magic the Gathering card called Kurt Cobain, it's ability was: Tap and Sacrifice Kurt Kobain to turn one wall Red.


I thought it was hilarious.

Sadly stuff like that has been made, remember the Columbine Shooting games? Personally I can't find that stuff funny, not because I like Nirvana but because there is nothing funny about it. Some people may be too desensitzed or can't separate their dislike for Nirvana from something done in poor taste. Either way there are more genuine ways to crack a smile.

I think that is funny as hell!!!!

My 13 yr. old son and I were talking the other day and he remarked on how stupid Cobain was... ( my boy is an aspiring guitarist, he's quiet good and Nirvana is one of his favorite bands) He tells me this... "Cobain had it all a kicking band, every album they put out went right to #1, money up the wazzoo and what does he go and do..... shoot heroin and swallow a 12 gauge... what an idiot!" his words not mine.....
he then went on to tell me that if it wasn't for Kurt killing himself we might never have gotten The Foo Fighters (another of his favorite bands)..... smart kid.......

My favorite dead celeb joke was given to me by fellow musician/jokester Bruce Stevenson.

John Denver died in October and 2 days later Bruce gave me a joke which he didn't want to do on stage. He told me joke and I got up on the mic and said....
"What's golden brown, weighs 10 pounds and won't be plucked for Thanksgiving?....
...John Denver's guitar!"
