I have a gig on sunday and its my first gig with a set more than 2 songs. Do you have any tips for stage performance. I want the audience to think i am getting in to the stuff but i don't want to look like an idiot. I am the bassist by the way.

See if you can get hold of a radio transmitter and run around in the crowd
Do some Slap and Pop solo's hehe
And don't get nervous :flush: LOL

Do the show in a loincloth like Ted Nugent.
Seriously, though... Just let the music move you. That's what I do. I always figure, if I look like an idiot, at least I'm having fun doing it.

What do you do when you rehearse? Not when you're goofing off, but when you're just into the music and moving with it. Do that.

while your playing think of yourself as the sexiest person alive show, shows some attitude.
bannana's and blueberrys have been been shown to reduce stagefright......

Just relax, be yourself .Just do and don't think..well, think of what you are doing, but just have fun.Don't try to show off, thats when you make mistakes.Just do what you do in rehearsal.Think of everyone in the crowd as your friends coming to see you practice.
The main word here is FUN!!
