Need to crack arpeggios?

I wonder if this is the right forum?

I'm looking for some hint on how to "crack" arpeggios.

For me arps are like scales used to be. It used to be that when I improvised with pentatonic (for example) it sounded like a robot playing the pentatonic. Now I seem to have cracked that.

But arpeggios ... no matter what I do it sounds like a person playing 1.3.5.7.1.3.5.7 if you know what I mean.

I need something to practice or some way of approaching it to break through this...
