Well, my friends step dad (plays keyboard) is in a band and my mom was going to that party and I was wanted to come play with their band at the party.. I would only be doing like 2 songs but I just cant get over the fact that I think I suck...I think im guna bomb it...

If I do end up doing it, what should I think about to take my mind of the audience?

Underwear dude, underwear.
Or chew gum. That works for me, UNLESS I bite my tongue or jaw, then I go into heavy metal swearing and everyone in Church runs for the doors........
uhhhh, well,
Just relax and enjoy, make the best of it, do your utmost to please everyone, then go home and..............................

PUKE!!!!!!!!!

Not really, just act like it's practice and you'll do fine.

Pick a song that is both appropriate to your audience and occaision, and which suits your skills.

Then, learn your parts cold, don't get too excited, and nail the performance.

Remember to keep time and try not to rush, for some reason when people are nervous etc they tend to rush into songs that they normally play without fault, thats what I've found any way.
