Welcome to JS Cokekolev! Reminds me of old Dio, actually.
I can't say I hate this part of it but, the only thing that didn't strike me as hard as the great guitar, tasty production, and killer vocs, was the lyrical content. That made it feel "post MTV" 80's. Kinda takes the shine off of an incredible classic sounding piece of music (this coming from a blues guy, mind ya!). Overall, smokin' track! Very Dioesque. Nice job, would love to hear s'mo.

Welcome to the Jam! Nice piece of guitar work. How did you produce this?

Thanx guys.
BKent: About the lyrics, they inspired the whole song. I had been listening to Alice Cooper and Kiss lately, so I wanted to write a song similar to 'Poison', 'Bed of Nails' or 'I stole your love'. It's a bit autobiographical, so I wanted to create something positive (to me). I don't know if you'll understand.... But yeah, I agree the lyrics could be sound to cheesy to a lot of people. Peeb: I recorded the whole thing with Cool Edit Pro. For rhythm I used my Epiphone Les Paul and cheapo Strat clone, both with GFS pickups, through my V-amp2. I programmed the drums with Acoustica Beatcraft. |

That kicked a**! From a fellow 80's fan. I could definately hear the Alice Cooper in this, I could almost see him in his big tophat and makeup rockin this one out. Great production job too. Really dug the vocals, hot track.
